Trademark/Copyright Paralegal The candidate will prepare and file trademark applications. Review and manage client trademark dockets. Prepare and record documents affecting the chain of title for U.S. and International trademarks. Responsible for various aspects of the trademark process, including application, prosecution, maintenance, Trademark and Trial Appeal Board proceedings and related docketing. Coordinate and oversee U.S. and foreign trademark filings. Perform various tasks including copyright registrations, searches and communication with the Copyright office. Communicate with attorneys, clients and foreign agents regarding pending trademark applications and registered trademarks. Prepare Office Action responses and related correspondence. Review and maintain renewal and maintenance dockets for clients. Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate are highly recommended. Should have 3+ years of on-the-job experience. Experience using the USPTO website database is required.
