Philadelphia office seeks Compensation/HRIS Analyst with 2-3 years of experience in building and maintaining job structures. The candidate will participate in the design, development, implementation, maintenance and communication of compensation programs, policies, and processes to ensure the Firm offers competitive and relevant compensation. Assist in the implementation of HRIS related data requirements/inquiries. Assist in the development and administration of compensation bands. Maintain all aspects of the compensation program including annual market, regional adjustments, analysis/benchmarking and salary surveys. Evaluate new and existing positions by investigating and analyzing position duties and responsibilities to determine appropriate classification and salary levels. Create and ensure that compensation administration is in compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Ensure appropriate systems are in place to provide accurate and excellent customer service to internal customers. Develop and deliver training with regards to the compensation program to all internal customers (Human Resources and Hiring Managers). Ensure quality job documentation (job descriptions) is in place for all positions. Reviews and confirms all FLSA exemption assessments to ensure that all jobs are in compliance with all Federal and local regulations. Prepare and administer bonus plan analysis and updates. Review and approve compensation actions for all employees. Assist with the implementation of new HRIS systems. Respond to various data reporting and inquiries including: employment verifications/unemployment and other related requests. Serve as an additional payroll backup. A BS/BA Degree in Business or HR required. Previous experience in a Professional Services environment (law firm preferred). Experience with job evaluation methodology. 2-3 years of experience developing compensation plans and ranges. Ability to analyze and interpret data to provide information and make recommendations. Thorough knowledge of appropriate compensation laws. Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets and database applications. Strong analytical skills combined with sound practical judgment. Experience with HRIS planning/implementation/project management is highly desirable.
