Attorney Development & Recruitment Assistant Responsibilities: Create and update LawCruit database records. Process invoices as necessary. Track and maintain DC Bar pending admissions chart. Track and update attorney bar admissions (when needed request certificates of good standing). Track and update chart with summer program expenses. Implement Firm s exit procedures (update various charts, remove departing attorneys from WestLegalEd, CE Manager, PLI, confirm Firm equipment returned to IT, etc.) Assist with scheduling of attorney oral reviews (update COPA chart, copy materials for oral reviewers, calendar entries). Assist with coordination and scheduling of in-house training programs for speakers, RSVP process, A/V, catering, copying of materials, CLE administration; interact with other offices on logistics and CLE for multi-office programming. Assist with data entry, administration and reporting for CE Manager (CLE tracking software). Assist with on-boarding process for lateral attorneys (completing new hire checklist, mailing new hire materials, communication with internal departments, calendar entries, conference room reservations including A/V needs, photo session, office tour, etc.) Assist with on-boarding of fall associate class (sending new hire materials, receiving and tracking paperwork, coordinating relocation and Bar/Bri payments and reimbursements, etc.) Assist with on-boarding of summer associate class (sending new hire materials, receiving and tracking paperwork) Update and maintain departmental files. Prepare routine correspondence. Assist Manager with event planning as needed (e.g., MAP Resources, retirement dinners, etc.). Assist Manager with implementing diversity and women s initiatives for the office as needed. Qualifications: Experience with applicant tracking software (LawCruit) preferred. Proven proofing and grammar skills required. Typing speed of 50 wpm, required. Accomplished with MS Office Suite software products, including MS Word and MS Excel, required. Ability to effectively and diplomatically interact and communicate with all levels of personnel, as well as outside vendors, law school representatives, and candidates. Strong clerical and organizing skills with keen attention to the details. Ability to handle with discretion access to confidential information and materials. Ability to prioritize and adjust to changing priorities.
