San Diego office seeks a sponsorships and events senior coordinator. The candidate will work closely with practice groups to develop and execute corporate sponsorships and events. Facilitate all logistics for firm-wide events including negotiating contracts, pre-conference meetings and scheduling, venue research, and managing all correspondence with panelists and their offices, venues and vendor contacts. Organize all invitee and attendee information via the firm's client database and managing responses for each event, including the printing and recording of RSVP's. Help to develop and coordinate materials for seminars and events, including general program logistics such as preparing name tags, day-of-event schedule/annotated agendas, program handouts, and researching and arranging for panelist or client gifts. Assist in the management of events on-site; facilitate follow-up correspondence including letters to vendors, attendees and no-shows, continue Legal Education letters and certificate of attendance notification, and seminar materials to keep on file. Generate event reports and tracking budget line items; produce program binders and final cost reports. Maintain and distribute marketing annual calendar and event specific lists. Handle client development and marketing related research projects for partners. Work with Communications Manager on public relations and press outreach as it relates to events and sponsorships. Manage Industry, Trade, and Community Organization Relations. Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field required; marketing experience in a legal or professional services firm a plus. Computer proficiency with excellent technological skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database management required. Knowledge of InterAction and/or experience maintaining a website a plus.
