Attorney Recruiting Coordinator Duties: Guided by department objectives and priorities, under the direction of the Attorney Recruiting Manager, the Attorney Recruiting Coordinator is primarily responsible for the coordination of essential functions of lateral and law school recruiting processes. Act as an ambassador for the Firm in all aspects of law school and lateral attorney recruiting. Establish strong and professional relationships with prospective hires to ensure substantive, ongoing contact with the Firm, and to promote desired acceptance rates. Contribute to the development of strong relationships with internal and external clients including: attorneys, staff, law school career services counselors, search firms and lawyer associations, etc. Co-facilitate recruiting events and onboarding/orientation trainings; coordinate receptions and/or dinners for lateral and on-campus recruiting. Provide recommendations for enhancements to on-campus and lateral onboarding effectiveness. Monitor, track, and generate reports using Taleo, Excel, and other softwares. Develop statistics by compiling and analyzing data. Process vendor invoices, candidate expenses, and assist in budget preparation. Responsibilities - Lateral Attorney Recruiting Under the direction of the Attorney Recruiting Manager, apply sound recruiting knowledge and instrumental support to the lateral recruiting lifecycle for lateral partner, of counsel, associate, fall associate, judicial clerk, and visiting international attorney candidates. Coordinate the administrative functions of the recruiting process including: developing and posting job descriptions, prescreening and tracking candidates, coordinating interviews, preparing offer letters, managing background checks and risk management forms, checking references, processing bar stipends, developing orientation agendas, managing onboarding training and ensuring all necessary departments and parties are informed/notified to facilitate new hires arrival and orientation. Provide ongoing applicant communications, guidance, informational and policy assistance, etc. Responsible for the preparation of all relevant applicant tracking system notices and other documentation for new and transfer hires; responsible for ensuring organization and accuracy. Responsibilities Law School Recruiting (On-campus recruiting) Under the direction of the Attorney Recruiting Manager, facilitate all aspects of the Summer Associate Program; orientation and training, scheduling, quality and quantity of all summer associate assignments; initiates the midsummer and final performance review process. Coordinates the final execution the admin/risk management exit process. Provide input into the planning for the Summer Associate Program; coordinate meetings, develop meeting agendas, create communication plans, draft communications, etc. Develop relationships with recruiting partners and associates to develop and encourage attorney participation in the Fall On-Campus Interviewing Program. Ensures that all key stakeholders are informed at all times. Responsible for assisting with the management of the Fall On-Campus Interviewing Program for the office including: resume review; schedules call back interviews and gather feedback; coordinate follow up on offers and creates the fall cultivation plan; manage office recruiting funnel and acceptance rates. Manage the Fall On-Campus Interviewing Program for designated schools including: distribute resumes to appropriate parties upon receipt from schools; draft first version of on-campus interviewers; prepare interview packets and schedules for on campus interviewers; organize call back meetings for on campus interviewers and provide the related interview paperwork. Demonstrates a sound understanding of the firms recruiting position at various law schools. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree plus 2-4 years of recruiting experience or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Excellent communication skills. Ability to quickly build relationships and establish trust with leaders, hiring managers, colleagues and candidates. Solid experience working in a cross-functional team environment demonstrating reliability, dependability and flexibility is essential. Stellar organizational, process, and follow-through skills. Ability to prioritize assignments, work independently and take ownership over projects. Exceptional client service ethic and a proven record in delivering exemplary client satisfaction to external and internal client constituencies. Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines.
