Civil Litigation Attorney The candidate should have significant experience defending against large commercial trucking claims, including the ability to effectively handle all aspects of a trucking claim from the initial accident call through resolution. Must have strong working knowledge of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Experience providing rapid response services to clients, including on-site legal counsel and investigative assistance, following a major truck accident. Must have First chair jury trial experience. Existing relationships with motor carriers and trucking insurers. Portable business is welcome. Must have an active Ohio law license. Should have 3+ years of civil litigation experience in state and federal courts. Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills required. Substantial experience as the attorney primarily responsible for investigating claims, preparing and responding to written discovery, taking and defending depositions, managing expert witnesses, and all aspects of motion practice.
