Part Time Paralegal/Legal Assistant The candidate will work alongside experienced attorneys and paralegals to draft USCIS forms, take client declarations, and write persuasive legal arguments. Must have Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate. Must have previous experience drafting and filing I-601A, I-601 and U Nonimmigrant visa forms. Must be fluent both orally and written in Spanish and English. Must have individual case load but will be required to answer phones, schedule appointments, and translate during consultations. Must be able to prioritize duties and assignments in a timely manner. Must be reliable and have reliable transportation. Possess excellent writing skills are required. Should be generally familiar with law firm operations. Should preferably have 2 years of immigration legal experience. Hours per week: 20-29
