Bankruptcy Associate Attorney The candidate should have active TX Bar License including a certificate in good standing. Must have 3+ years of bankruptcy experience. Should be able to manage a high-volume of routine and complex bankruptcy cases effectively and efficiently. Must be proficient in all aspects of bankruptcy including: motions for relief; objections to confirmation; proof of claims; plan reviews; defense related to motions to impose and or extend stay; and litigating adversaries and other related bankruptcy matters, in all four Federal Districts in the state of Texas. Proven ability to litigate escalated bankruptcy cases is required. Advisory proceeding experience is needed. Should have litigation skills necessary to effectively represent and defend creditors. Strong research and drafting skills are needed. Court representation in contested bankruptcy matters is required. Must have knowledge of laws related to practice areas, legal codes and court procedures. Management experience is a plus. Travel to court proceedings as required in the State of Texas if a contested hearing is required and subject to the managing attorney s recommendation for travel.
