Paralegal Duties: Assist in the management of personal injury cases. Answering phones, navigating client relationships, and competently delegating information to the appropriate channels. Clerical work such as labeling, scanning, faxing, and mail intake. Sending and receiving legal documents. Requesting and organizing medical records and bills. Setting up liens, auditing information for accuracy, and possible lien disputes. Setting up and keeping track of claims relating to property damage, bodily injury, etc.
Qualifications: Prior Paralegal/Legal Assistant experience is required and prefer 2-3 years experience. Prior personal injury and insurance experience is helpful, but not required. Must be personable, possess a positive attitude and understand the importance that their work and performance has on clients and other members of the law firm. Must be able to solve problems independently, think "outside the box", handle a variety of phone calls in a given day and be organized in all aspects of their job.
