Legal Secretary The candidate will work for the Personal Injury/Insurance Defense law firm. Should be a mid level litigation secretary with a minimum of 1 year litigation experience, preferably defense. Must be up to date on civil filings as position requires independent handling of deadlines and e-filings. Will be understanding e-filing procedures for applicable courts. Calendaring for discovery and motion deadlines. Support for multiple associates. Monitoring to-do's and calendaring. Doing Transcription. Word and Word Perfect skills required. Good Technology skills required. E-filing required. Transcription required. Excellent Organizational skills required. must be able to work independently and should be proficient in both Word and Word Perfect. Exposure to Abacus Law preferable.
