Cleveland office seeks a sales manager with 7+ years of relevant experience. The candidate reports to the associate director of business development. Will be responsible for both assisting in the strategic planning and tactical coordination of sales efforts throughout the firm. Work with firm leadership to fully understand the needs and objectives of the Firm, Practice Group and Office sales strategies. Assist leadership in refining these strategies going forward. Work with practice group and office leaders in organizing and planning their group's sales efforts. Work with individual lawyers in developing their sales plans and apply the practical knowledge to provide guidance on how to get it done. Outbound activities will include networking and relationship building, along with our lawyers, primarily through marketing and networking events. Track activities and results associated with sales efforts. Work cohesively with sales support and marketing departments. BA/BS degree is required. In depth understanding of professional services sales processes with applied knowledge is required. Must be proficient with the Microsoft suite of applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
