Affirmative Action Paralegal-Data Analyst The candidate will work in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team of dedicated professionals, including attorneys and legal support staff, who are passionate and committed to achieving positive results for the firm s clients. Will work not only on preparing affirmative action plans, but also on ensuring clients comply with applicable laws and regulations related to Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity. Analyzing trends/patterns in large data sets, drawing conclusions based the data analysis and following up with clients, co-workers and government agencies as needed. Communicating with clients and interacting with governmental agencies. Formatting and processing data in ways to preserve data integrity. Editing documents and spreadsheet data in support of affirmative action plan development. Responding to inquiries and questions from clients, attorneys and various government agencies. Trouble-shooting potential coding issues with spreadsheet data. Working closely with team members to prioritize tasks and relay information. Qualifications: A Bachelor's or Associate s Degree in Management Information Systems, Public Administration, Business Administration, Government, Statistics, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience working in a data analytics role, a law firm setting, human resources and/or for the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs. Advanced skill level in Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. Superior attention to detail. Ability to evaluate and prioritize competing interests effectively. Polished communication skills (oral and written). Strong analytical abilities and critical thinking skills. Technologically adept. Willingness to operate in both a team situation and autonomously with minimal supervision. Must be detail-oriented, diligent, organized, and have a knack for analyzing data and problem-solving.
