Attorney Recruiting and Development Coordinator DUTIES: Coordinate planning and execution of the annual Summer Associate program. Schedule interviews for Summer Associate applicants. Coordinate and organize Summer Associate social and business events. Monitor Summer Associate workload reports; respond to day-to-day Summer Associate questions and/or concerns. Participate in all Summer Associate events to the extent possible. Engage in follow-up recruiting efforts to candidates. Working with the Attorney Recruiting and Development Manager, assign mentors to new associates and Summer Associates. Coordinate on-campus arrangements at various law schools; schedule students and coordinate each student s interview schedule; and oversee entry of schedules into recruiting database. Provide on-site assistance at law schools for on-campus interviewing and events. Coordinate Lateral Recruiting, including but not limited to coordinating each candidate s interview schedule, meeting lateral candidates, overseeing expense approvals, and distributing, coordinating, receiving and reviewing evaluation forms. Participate in office Hiring Committee meetings. Participate in scheduled periodic Attorney Recruiting and Development conference calls and meetings, as needed. Help coordinate the Washington office diversity recruiting efforts. Coordinate planning and delivery of attorney development training programs. Conduct market research regarding legal recruiting trends. Analyze recruiting statistics, and prepare and submit on behalf of the Firm statistics for NALP, attorney salary surveys, internal presentations, etc. Coordinate work in various recruiting-related computerized databases and programs. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required. 3+ years of experience in legal recruiting in a law firm. Ability to read, write and speak English. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. Strong service orientation and an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers and attorneys. Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure. Ability to manage multiple projects with specific deadlines and adjust to changing priorities in a professional manner. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to use initiative and judgment to accomplish results. Ability to work independently and with a team. Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions. Strong attention to detail.
