Civil Litigation Attorney (Plaintiff Employment) The candidate will be drafting pleading documents, legal research, drafting and opposing legal motions, drafting meet and confer correspondence, drafting discovery requests and responses, client intake, drafting demand letters and mediation briefs, document review and summary, attending court hearings, assisting with depositions, trial preparation and trial, etc. Should have 1-3 years of experience. Should have a J.D. from an accredited law school and be fully licensed to practice law in the State of California with no restrictions or prior discipline. Should be detail-oriented, clear communicators and be able to work independently. Must be very familiar and have experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint in addition to Adobe/PDF documents. Prior employment litigation experience will be given greater preference. Newly admitted attorneys are welcome to apply but must have at least some civil litigation training and provide law school transcripts if admitted less than one year. Note : This is a temporary position.
