Associate Attorney The candidate will have Lead attorney and point of contact for assigned client files. Communication and strategizing with clients to develop litigation plan. Execution of strategy for assigned client files. Appearance in court for statuses, hearings, and trials. Participation in private mediation with clients. Deposition and discovery practice. Regular communication with clients to answer questions, and review/revise strategy. Meeting with prospective clients. Participation in firm workshops focused on developing both litigation skills and client acquisition skills. Management and oversight of paralegal/legal assistants/law clerks 5 years experience as an attorney in divorce/custody law are required. Substantial trial and/or evidentiary hearing experience are required. Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and to delegate tasks efficiently are required. Ability to lead a team towards a defined goal are required. Higher than average emotional intelligence.
