Associate Attorney - Professional Liability Duties: Case handling, including analyzing, assessing, and executing litigation strategies through all states of litigation. Client contact, including proactively managing client communications and providing liability coverage analyses to clients. Represent clients at litigation proceedings, including at hearings, motions depositions, and mediations. Research and draft case materials, including pleadings, motions and other litigation documents. Investigate liability claims, including researching and evaluating claims, providing recommendations, and developing litigation strategy. Try cases, including learning from the firm's ABOTA trial attorneys. Requirements: JD Degree from an accredited law school and current good standing with the California State Bar. 3+ years of real estate litigation experience representing agents, brokers or appraisers, insurance broker defense, and/or legal malpractice defense. Trial experience is a plus. Proven work experience in professional liability. Demonstrable experience researching, analyzing, deposing, and handling cases. Prior court room experience is essential. Detail-oriented with excellent writing, communication, and case analysis abilities. Embodies core values of leadership, hard work and integrity. Up-to-date with latest trends and best practices in professional liability.
