Associate Attorney The candidate should have environmental experience. Lead litigation efforts in federal district and appellate courts, state courts, and administrative tribunals. Drive settlement negotiations toward optimal resolutions for clients and public at large. Work with existing clients to develop new cases in a strategic fashion; conduct factual investigations, develop legal theories, draft pleadings and briefs, and otherwise manage new and existing cases. Collaborate in team problem solving, litigation strategy, and project management. Establish trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, outside co-counsel, clients, and industry partners. Must be licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia. Must have 2 years of litigation experience. Proven negotiation skills are required. Prior 28-3904 experience a plus.
