Legal Secretary Assistant The candidate will answer telephone calls and respond to email requests. Prepare, format and proofread documents and correspondence. Prepare and coordinate filings and discovery submissions. Coordinate attorney schedules and status work assignments. Coordinate with opposing counsel for scheduling of depositions, hearings, etc. Manage case calendaring and assist in meeting deadlines. Maintain electronic and physical filing system and client data base. Assist in the preparation of monthly billing statements. Should have 1+ years of experience working in a law firm. Must have strong computer skills, with advanced knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with case, client and/or law firm management software. Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
