Phoenix office seeks a shared services director of human resources with 15+ years of well rounded HR management experience in a law firm or professional service organization with 7+ years at a senior management level. The candidate develops and launches firm-wide HR initiatives to assist business leaders in meeting goals through implementation of HR strategic initiatives and programs in keeping with the firm's future goals and vision. This includes talent management, policy creation and interpretation, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, risk management, succession planning, and organizational development on a firm-wide basis. Supports a culture of performance throughout the firm by coaching and counseling firm leadership, attorneys and HR professionals on all facets of employment, legal, and employee relations issues. Advanced degree in human resource management or business management is preferred. PHR/SPHR is also preferred. A strong knowledge of current HR trends, systems, employment practices and HR best practices is required. Human resources planning skills, financial knowledge, diplomacy as well as excellent consulting and project management skills are required. Travel is required.
