Legal Secretary The candidate will be responsible for: Preparing motions. Dictation. Calendaring. Drafting of legal documents. Various administrative duties such as travel coordination and coordinating meetings. Inputting attorney time. Answering phones and relieving the firm's receptionist once as needed. Other duties as assigned.
The candidate should have 1-3 years of civil defense litigation experience. Must have knowledge of litigation procedures and processes, e-filing, and creating table of authorities. Prior experience with attorney dictation, expense reimbursements, calendaring and scheduling work, inputting time, and coordinating meetings and travel. Must be open to taking on new responsibilities and challenging tasks. Should have excellent organizational skills with the ability to integrate into a fast-paced environment. Must have excellent typing skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
