Intellectual Property Prosecution Paralegal Atlanta, Georgia, United States 2 hours ago Apply Now Description Thomas Horstemeyer, a boutique intellectual property law firm in Atlanta, is seeking an experienced foreign patent prosecution paralegal.This position will be responsible for assisting attorneys and other IP professionals with the preparation, prosecution and maintenance of international patents and trademarks, and providing general intellectual property support for our clients. Detailed Job Description:Assist in filing of PCT applications and responses, including preparation of required filing documentsSupport attorneys with development and management of IP portfolioCorrespond with foreign associates to provide instructions for responding to various prosecution mattersDraft detailed reporting letters to clients regarding status of applications and patentsMonitor docket for assigned matters and communicate with appropriate attorneys and team members to ensure deadlines are metMaintain accurate daily time records for client billing purposesSkills Required:Minimum of three (3) years' experience as a patent prosecution paralegal with both foreign and US IP matters.Knowledgeable in USPTO and PCT procedures, rules, and requirementsFamiliarity with foreign IP laws in various jurisdictionsStrong organizational skillsDetailed oriented with the ability to multi-taskExcellent oral and written communication skillsWillingness to be a team playerHigh level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) filing system, Adobe, file management software, and other technologyParalegal certificatepreferredrequiredSalary is commensurate with experience Job Information Job ID: ba5122c0-26193467100 Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States
