Nashville office seeks a help desk specialist with experience in a progressively responsible technical position. The candidate maintains control of the day-to-day operations of the help desk to meet the computer and/or telephone maintenance needs of the firm at any time the firm's clients create a demand for services. Receives requests from the attorneys and staff outlining the need they are experiencing. Accurately records information about the problem into Track It. Attempts to diagnose and trouble shoot the problem over the phone, if appropriate, or assign the ticket to the appropriate Support Analyst for resolution. Follows up with the client within 24 hours after receipt of the complaint to determine if a satisfactory result was achieved. Provides reporting on Helpdesk activity as defined by the Manager of Technical Support in a timely manner. If requested by the Manager of Technical Support, works on computers, printers, wiring, telephone and applications related trouble tickets. The candidate must be experienced in help desk systems maintenance and administration, and have a familiarity with Windows XP. Experience with Microsoft Office applications, RightFax, Microsoft Outlook and Exchange is also required.
