Litigation Paralegal The candidate will draft correspondences, pleadings, motions, complaints, and discovery documents. Communication with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, court personnel, and experts. Review and summarize depositions, medical records, and other discovery materials. Formal hearing and trial preparation, including electronic presentations, and assist with depositions. Knowledge of e-filing with state courts and agencies, calendaring, and Microsoft Word and Excel required. Must be able to work somewhat independently. Strong attention to detail, very organized and motivated required. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities, and accommodate rush requests required. Paralegal certificate or college degree required. Should be an experienced litigation paralegal. Should have experience with Connecticut and Federal pleadings, practice, and procedure, including Family Law.
