Legal Secretary/Administrative Assistant Responsibilities: Answer and screen phone calls from clients, potential clients, and our vendors. Schedule appointments and court calendaring using Clio; maintain a calendar of critical dates; monitor and update case dockets. Prepare legal documents and correspondence, including discovery, administrative, pre-trial, and trial documents, pleadings, motions, correspondence, and memoranda. Assist with online and legal research. Organize and analyze materials, exhibits, documents, and other information. File documents in state and federal courts and with administrative agencies. Provide paralegal and strategic support to attorneys during the hearing, pre-trial, trial, and post-trial process. Handle accounts payable and receivable. Qualifications & Skills: High school or equivalent required. Litigation Support experience of 2 years required. Legal Secretary, Litigation Paralegal, or Legal Assistant experience ( 4+ years preferred). Proficiency with Clio Practice Management or similar platform required. Excellent analytical and communication skills. High attention to detail, accountability, and integrity. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Work independently and meet strict deadlines. Sensitive to the needs and interests of the clients. Willing and capable of quick learning and accepting redirection, when necessary.
