Paralegal (Litigation) Duties: Manage a full load of professional negligence and medical malpractice cases on a team of 3 attorneys with paralegals, law clerks, and support staff. Drafting documents, scheduling, filing pleadings with the court, ordering records and medical bills, and other tasks as assigned. Treat every client like family. Treat fellow team members with the highest degree of respect. Read, study, and apply lessons from books and manuals provided by the firm. Qualifications: Past experience and/or knowledge in medical field is preferred. Familiarity with computers and technology is a must. Outstanding written communication skills. Outstanding oral communication skills. Outstanding computer, research, technological, and organizational skills. Outstanding people skills. The ability to both think strategically and execute the fine details of a plan. Familiarity and/or experience in the medical field. A strong work ethic, solution-oriented mindset, passion for assisting injured and cheated victims in the law. Will have a commitment to professional excellence to become a litigation paralegal at successful plaintiff firm.
