Associate Attorney The candidate's duties include: To interpret laws, rules and regulations as they pertain to the Workers Compensation practice. Analyse the probable outcome of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents; Gather evidence to formulate defence by such means as interviewing clients, gathering medical records and deposing relevant parties; Be prepared to attend hearing/trial on any cases being handled; Summarize and Present cases to arbitrator; Prepare and draft legal documents such as opinion letters, status memos and settlement contracts; Manage a full case load. Illinois license (other states a plus). Should have 2+ years insurance defence experience. Must have working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications.
