Associate Attorney The candidate will be responsible for taking and defending depositions, appearances, vehicle inspections, creative litigation approaches and potentially trials & trial preparation. Responsibilities : Draft motions; Court appearances; Vehicle inspections; Negotiate settlements; Take and defend depositions; Draft and respond to discovery; Assess case value and strategy and maximize client recovery. Will be dealing with the major car manufacturers where will be litigating lemon law claims.Must have previous experience as a plaintiff's attorney, ideally in lemon law, product liability or consumer law. Should have ability to handle an aggressive caseload. Should have thorough and detailed organization skills and ability to build rapport with clients and defense counsel. Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Should have strong advocacy skills and a competitive spirit. Active membership in the CA State Bar, in good standing, is required.
