Litigation - Associate Attorney The candidate is responsible for litigation on behalf of the clients on defaulted debt. Responsibilities will include reviewing case files for litigation, conducting stipulation conferences, court appearances, research and writing, working with litigants, court personnel, and firm employees, preparing legal pleadings, memoranda, and correspondence. Must have a J.D. Degree from an ABA-approved law school, current license in good standing to practice in the State of Arizona, and 1-3 years of litigation experience. Should have knowledge of legal techniques and of the formats used in the preparation of legal documents. Must have reliable transportation, a valid Arizona driver's license, along with the consent to have their driving record run periodically. Must have effective Legal Writing, legal analysis, and reasoning. Good judgment regarding legal advice/recommendations is required. Must have effective case presentation /trial work, display appropriate courtroom demeanor, and oral advocacy. Demonstrates negotiation skills and persuasive abilities. Should have excellent writing skills, excellent computer skills, and knowledge of Windows environment. Attention to detail with the ability to demonstrate proficiency with case management software is required. Expected Start Date: Immediate.
