This large Texas firm practices corporate, litigation, intellectual property, real estate, tax, and other types of law on behalf of an impressive list of major clients that includes many national and international corporations and government entities. The firm has a supportive and cooperative environment where attorneys do not compete with each other and associates are treated with respect. Associates also feel that the billable hours requirements are reasonable and that the firm provides them with excellent training. Good interaction with partners is present, and all attorneys are given interesting work assignments and significant responsibility.
Dallas office seeks a marketing coordinator with 2+ years of legal or professional service marketing experience. The candidate will provide support to marketing staff and attorneys across all office locations. Primary responsibilities include the ability to compile and distribute marketing collateral, including brochures, biographies, event materials and presentations; maintain and update attorney biographies, practice group profiles, media listings and blog on the Web site; perform various company, industry, news and people research projects using online resources; coordinate all external marketing mailings and e-mail communications, including newsletters, news releases and both hard copy and electronic event invitations; serve as primary marketing liaison for selected industry teams by scheduling meetings and handling marketing action items. Additional duties include: Preparing and implementing events; manage annual fundraising projects; order and distribute promotional products, maintain inventory and update products via Web site; handle sporting event ticket distribution. Must be able to work and perform under strict deadlines and have the ability to handle and adjust multiple priorities. Bachelor's degree is required. An advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required. Proficiency with a client relationship management database and the willingness to learn an internal web editing program is desired.
