Overview of Position Taft Law is looking for an experienced attorney to join our Real Estate group in the Detroit office. The ideal candidate should have experience in acquisition, disposition, financing and commercial office leasing. The attorney will work closely with the firm's other practice groups to provide strategic advice to our clients. Responsibilities - Advise clients on real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leasing, and other related matters - Negotiate, draft and review purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases, and other related documents - Manage due diligence, title review, and closing activities - Research and provide counsel on real estate matters - Represent clients in court proceedings related to real estate transactions - Develop and maintain client relationships Requirements - J.D. from an accredited law school - 3+ years of experience in real estate transactions - Licensed to practice law in Michigan - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Ability to work independently and as a part of a team - Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Salary and Benefits Taft Law offers a competitive salary and benefits package, commensurate with experience. # Attorney - Real Estate (Detroit) Taft Law is looking for an experienced attorney to join their Real Estate practice group in the Detroit office.
