Wills, Trusts, and Estates Paralegal / Legal Assistant Duties: Assist the attorney(s) in the preparation of estate planning and related documents. Assist the attorney(s) in the preparation of litigation pleadings. Assist the attorney(s) in the preparation of probate pleadings. Prepare and file documents with the Clerk of Court. Communicate with clients to obtain relevant information and communicate statuses. Communicate with Judicial Assistants to schedule and coordinate hearings and trials. Help to organize discovery information. Draft memos transcribed from attorney dictation. Assist the attorney(s) by managing calendars, litigation deadlines, and coordinating schedules. Assist the attorney(s) by helping to organize information for hearings and trials. Perform other tasks as needed. Qualifications: High school or equivalent and Paralegal certification preferred. Florida Estate Planning paralegal experience of 1 year a plus. Experience with the court's e-File system. Excellent math and writing skills. Relevant computer skills for the position. Professionalism, good judgment, and the ability to manage in high-pressure situations. Microsoft Office proficiency desired.
