Erisa Paralegal The candidate will be assisting and main lead ERISA Attorney and Senior Compliance Counsel in performing analysis of documentation related to companies involved in: IRS s EPCRS; M&A Transactions; Code Section 4980H assessments; and IRS and DOL audits; Synthesize and summarize issues into readable documents for clients; Legal research and analysis of ERISA legal compliance requirements related to ERISA issues related to retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and executive compensation programs; Draft ERISA-related IRS forms, including Forms 5500, 1094-C and 1095-C and any and all accompanying documentation and Schedules; Prepare primary legal documents, including; Memorandums; Plan documents (including prototype plan documents); Resolutions, Participant Agreements, Amendments; Summary Plan Descriptions; Participant Notices (e.g., annual safe harbor 401(k) plan Notices). Perform due diligence in legal matters concerning contracts, agreements, and mergers and acquisitions; and collaborate with the Firm s attorneys in their efforts to develop professional relationships with existing and prospective clients. Should have experience as a paralegal. Must have Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate. 7-10 Years ERISA or Tax Experience is required.
