Attorney Recruiting Assistant Duties: Assists with On-Campus Interviewing, including: Entering and maintaining all candidate information into the tracking database. Maintaining and organizing school files and statistics. Preparing binders, and packets for interviews and meetings. Organizing candidate files. Processing candidate expense reports. Scheduling candidate interviews. Assists during the summer associate program, including (but not limited to):. Preparing and maintaining summer associate files. Preparing evaluation materials for mid-summer/end of summer reviews. Preparing orientation materials. Booking conference rooms and managing catering services for internal training. Assisting with the planning of social events. Assists in the Lateral Hiring Process, including:. Monitoring the attorney recruiting email box daily. Entering and maintaining all candidate information into the tracking database. Organizing lateral candidate files. Maintaining charts, reports, and correspondences. Processing conflict and background checks for incoming attorneys. Assisting with onboarding and orientation for new hires. General Office Duties, including:. Maintaining paper and electronic records for the department. Processing check requests, invoices, reimbursements, and expense reports. Ordering and organizing swag and giveaway materials for new hires. Maintaining the department calendar. Other duties as assigned by Attorney Recruiting Director/Manager. Qualifications: Bachelor A?A s Degree. Current local undergraduate students with part time availability before May 2018 graduation may be considered. Related work experience during which knowledge, skills and abilities applicable to the position were attained. Experience with recruiting, or working in a law firm is preferred. Ability to organize, prioritize and multitask in a dynamic and complex environment to meet deadlines and daily requirements. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a productive and committed work effort. Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail. Ability to represent the firm with honesty, integrity, and professionalism, consistently acting in an ethical manner. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships among lawyers and staff. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and with others in a cooperative, enthusiastic and friendly manner to accomplish position functions and participate in team efforts. The ability to exercise independent judgment and be a self-starter. Demonstrated advanced knowledge of MS suite to produce quality written communications such as memos, spreadsheets, slides, and standard work documents. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing with attorneys, staff, vendors, and the public. Demonstrated ability to provide quality client service to both internal and external contacts, regarding non-legal matters of a routine nature. Requires patience, creativity and discretion.
