Title : Patent Attorney

Patent Attorney The candidate will be drafting patent prosecution documents including patent applications, amendments, and analyzing and responding to USPTO Office Actions as well as various additional patent prosecution documents as may be required to move a patent application to issue. Will be performing patent searches and documenting the results of the searches. Participating in interviews with patent examiners. Corresponding and meeting with inventors/applicants. Researching and determining patentability and technical aspects of inventions. Timekeeping for billing and working with support staff. A Masters degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required. Admission before the USPTO is required. Must be eligible to work in the US (no Visa sponsorship available). Should have 3+ years of experience in patent preparation, prosecution, IP strategy and portfolio management, and U.S. and international patent procurement strategy (USPTO, PCT, EPO).
