Immigration Paralegal The candidate will have the opportunity to interact with clients in Spanish and English, consult with court staff, and learn immigration law. Will partner with attorneys to assist with case research. Meet with client to fill out immigration forms and gather the proper documentation. Call and/or email the proper government entity to request information on a client s case. Draft motions and various court documents. Respond to client inquiries. Prepare cases for federal/state court. Update the case management system.
The candidate should preferably have Bachelor's Degree. Paralegal Certification is desired. High School Diploma/GED is required. Must have 1+ year of experience in a law firm setting. Must preferably have 1+ year of experience in Immigration Law. Must speak and write in fluent Spanish. Excellent written and oral communication skills essential. Experience with INSZoom or similar case management system preferred.
