Civil Litigation Paralegal The candidate will assist in all aspects of plaintiffs' side civil litigation. Filing Civil Complaints. Assisting with Discovery. Drafting pleadings. Tracking court deadlines. Calendaring response deadlines for attorneys. Should have 1+ years of civil litigation experience. Professional appearance and demeanor are needed. Experience in personal injury litigation, mass torts, or medical malpractice is preferred. Knowledge of the local court rules of counties throughout California is needed. Knowledge of California pleading and response deadlines are required. Knowledge of discovery protocols and deadlines is needed. Excellent communication skills are required. Should be well organized. Should be detail-oriented. Critical thinking skills are needed. Proficiency in common computer programs is needed.
