Supervising Paralegal The candidate will be working as a bankruptcy paralegal/case manager and feel ready to take challenging for assign projects and help us with hiring, training, promotions, reviews, terminations, and more. Responsible for tracking continuing legal education credits for the department, and make suggestions for which classes paralegals should enroll in. be natural leaders with law firm experience as senior paralegals or similar positions that love to help others grow in their roles. Contact us today to be considered for this opportunity. Draft various legal documents to support attorneys, such as pleadings, discovery requests and answers, memoranda, and contracts. Track legal department's Continuing Legal Education (CLE) to ensure credits are up-to-date and make appropriate recommendations for classes. Act as a liaison between attorneys and paralegals, ensuring projects are completed accurately and timely and resolve conflicts as needed. Help with various personnel decisions, such as hiring/termination, promotions, salaries, reviews, relating to paralegals. Manage our team of paralegals and assist with assigning projects organizing and prioritizing tasks, caseload, and workflow, and advise on how to resolve conflicts, when they arise 4-year degree in management, finance, legal administration, or similar major - Master's degree is a plus. Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft and Excel. Management, leadership, decision-making, and communication skills are necessary to succeed in this role. Member of National Federation of Paralegal Association and/or member of local paralegal association is nice to have but not required. Certificate of completion from paralegal program recognized nationally preferred. Must be technologically savvy, quick learners, willing to adapt to new protocols, software, and efficiency standards.
