Litigation Paralegal The candidate responsibilities will include: Collaborating with attorneys on a daily basis. Request, organize and summarize medical records and bills. Communicate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel. Prepare medical chronologies and medical expense itemizations. Assist in obtaining, monitoring and managing discovery. Prepare and compile discovery responses. Schedule keeper of records depositions. Assist in preparing legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints and legal memoranda. Locate and schedule witnesses. Prepare and organize trial exhibits, prepare trial binders. Prepare records for review by experts. Trial preparation including draft of exhibit lists. Assist with hearings, assist in courtroom during trial. Assist with mediation, settlement and arbitration. Prepare settlement agreements. Monitor and ensure compliance with state, local and federal regulations. Maintain and manage databases. Issue subpoenas. Providing general administrative support. Must have Bachelors Degree. Should have 3 years experience in supporting attorneys whose practice focuses on litigation. Must be MS Office, Westlaw and Lexis proficient.
