Plaintiff Personal Injury Paralegal The candidate will serve in the in-depth analysis of medical records. Will be organizing medical records. Sending prompt and detailed follow-up letters to medical providers. Organizing files and proactively helping push cases toward resolution. Drafting legal documents and correspondence. Prior to litigation - Understanding statutes of limitations and their importance and updating lists for attorney weekly planning meetings to discuss our quarterly and yearly plans. Understanding deadlines and scheduling orders and their priority and updating lists for attorney weekly planning meetings to discuss our quarterly and yearly plans. Drafting outgoing discovery and responses to discovery. Keeping attorney calendar, and client contact. The candidate should preferably have an Associate's degree or a paralegal certificate. Should have a great interest/background in medicine, creating detailed medical chronologies and reviewing medical records for completeness, etc. Must have 7-10 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury work. Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel needed. Should be highly organized and detail-oriented. Excellent communication skills, including spelling and grammar needed.
