HIPAA Privacy Attorney The candidate will be breaching response for healthcare and other industry sector organizations. Advising clients on HIPAA and other state and federal data breach notification obligations. Responding to HHS investigations and audits. Drafting HIPAA privacy and security policies and procedures. Drafting HIPAA risk assessments. Independently manage a caseload; working cases from beginning to end. Communicating with clients and provide status reports. J.D. degree from an accredited law school is required. Should have 3+ years of HIPAA privacy, compliance and regulatory experience. Data protection / privacy / cyber liability experience is required. Legal project management experience is a plus. Should preferably have admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia.
