Contract Personal Injury Paralegal The candidate will assist with discovery. Draft Motions, e-file, and service of pleadings. Assist with trial and hearing preparations. Identify liability issues, maintain contact with clients, communicate with providers, review medical & employment records and maintain a docket calendar. Must have 5 years of personal injury experience(Plaintiff) and 1 year as a paralegal. Experience with discovery is required. Should preferably be a fluent Spanish speaker, have Needles software experience, and proficiency in Microsoft. Must have a professional attitude. Excellent grammar and proofreading abilities are needed. Should preferably be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have comprehensive knowledge about both liability insurance and Texas rules of civil procedure. Must have excellent attention to detail and be able to work both independently and on a team. Must have the ability to work primarily on the computer with Microsoft Word, digital folders, and Foxit/Adobe. Contract Term - 3 months.
