Excellent opportunities are available at one of Connecticut's largest law firms. Practice areas include corporate, tax, litigation, real estate, and other fields. Corporate Paralegal The candidate s responsibilities include: assisting in the formation and ongoing monitoring of corporations, LLCs and other business entities; preparing and filing formation and tax registration documents, foreign qualifications, amendments, mergers and dissolutions; maintaining stock transfer ledgers and minute books; coordinating filings and history searches with federal, state and local filing offices; preparing merger and financing documents; coordinating business, UCC and tax lien searches and filings for financings; and securities/blue sky research and filings. Should have 5+ years of paralegal experience in business law. Strong verbal and written communication skills along with excellent organizational skills are required. A Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate is preferred. Commercial and residential real estate experience is a plus.
