Trust and Estate Attorney The candidate must be admitted to the Illinois Bar. Must have a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member in good standing of the Illinois Bar. Must have 2+ years of trusts and estates experience working with high net-worth individuals in the drafting of wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney, irrevocable trusts and other estate planning documents. Should preferably have experience with decedent's estates, gift tax returns and estate tax returns as well as familiarity with family limited partnerships and limited liability companies, installment sales, and other related transactions helpful. Must also have a basic and growing understanding of state and federal tax laws. Financial Knowledge is required. Strong communication and organizational skills is required. Strong legal research and writing skills is required. Must have strong academic credentials.
