Tax and Benefits Attorney/ The candidate will provide superior customer service to all clients. Provide analysis and guidance to ensure the proper division of assets in divorce, including but not limited to retirement benefits, stock options, investment accounts, and businesses. Evaluate tax implications of asset division in divorce cases. Prepare QDROs, EDROs, DROs and other documents necessary to divide retirement accounts. Work with a team of professionals to provide the best possible case strategy. Manage performance metrics to track accomplishments and client satisfaction.
The candidate should have Passed the Bar Exam on the first attempt. Must have LLM in Taxation. Should have 3 years of experience reviewing and evaluating employees benefits, preparing necessary Judgments and Orders to divide employee benefits and retirement accounts incident to divorce, evaluating the potential tax effects in dividing assets in divorce matters. Must have experience drafting QDROs, DROs, and other documents necessary to divide retirement accounts. Should have License, in good standing, to practice law in the state of employment. Impeccable professional reputation with a positive perspective are required. Has the technical skills where new programs can be quickly learned. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. should have excellent Organizational skills. should be Proficient in the knowledge and use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
