Civil Litigation Attorney The candidate will be responsible for handling contested matters for the firm, including drafting of discovery and motions, attendance at uncontested and contested non-jury trials and motion hearings and general civil litigation, in state and federal courts,as well as some transactional work. Utilize legal knowledge and experience as necessary to facilitate the litigation process and real estate and business transactions on behalf of clients. Will attend Trials and Hearings on regular basis. Attend hearings, mediations and other duties. The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree with a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. Should have Litigation or courtroom and transactional experience. Bar License is must. 1+ year experience in Transaction is favored. Must be willing to travel throughout entire state of Florida. Should be a Member of the state bar, while maintaining all necessary licensing and continuing legal education requirements. Be well-versed in the rules of evidence and introducing evidence. Foreclosure, real estate and business transactional experience is a plus. Have proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office products.Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
