Paralegal - E-Discovery Duties: Responsible for assisting with the management and coordination of document reviews, document review teams and document productions. Assist the E-Discovery Team Manager/Document Review Manager with all aspects of document review preparation, document review training, day-to-day operations of the Document Review Center and communications with case teams and clients regarding document reviews. Assist with developing review strategies, preparing review protocols, conducting technical QC review, preparing privilege logs and monitoring/reporting on document review status. Works in coordination with the E-Discovery Teams Senior Project Managers and E-Discovery Attorneys to QC, finalize and prepare document productions. Receive substantial training and guidance from other team members in e-discovery technology in order to perform the required tasks. Position may require that work be performed after standard work hours and/or on weekends. Qualifications: Four year degree or equivalent. 5 years litigation experience including experience in the discovery lifecycle and electronic discovery. Experience with various e-discovery technologies including Relativity, West Case Notebook, CaseMap, Concordance and/or other widely used e-discovery applications (substantial training will be provided). Knowledge of the litigation process from initial filing through trial. Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences. Outstanding e-discovery services and client relationship building skills. Ability to anticipate issues and solve them before a problem arises. Ability to work in a fast paced environment working under strict deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel. Highly motivated to gain expertise and achieve certifications in both technical and legal project management fields. Ability to handle multiple projects. Ability to cultivate client and case team relationships. Proven critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities. Ability to travel required. Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and be able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone. Able to work standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers. Able to focus, interpret information logically to solve problems, and answer customers questions appropriately. Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by Director/Manager and required by business need.
