Litigation Paralegal The candidate prepares and transmits correspondence. Works independently with minimal supervision. Prepares responses to complex discovery requests. Prepares trial and deposition notebooks. Summarizes depositions in preparation for trial. Proofs, verifies, and edits all documents created for accuracy, clarity, and formatting consistency. Maintains and reviews calendar daily and proactively handle upcoming events, schedules appointments. Organizes workload to meet established priorities and get time-sensitive documents out in a timely manner. Reviews task list and calendar daily to assure deadlines are met. Maintains paper and electronic case files. Assists with travel arrangements. Communicates with clients and attorneys by telephone, mail, and email. Uses discretion and judgment when communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Alerts attorneys of any problems. Performs all duties consistent with the policies and procedures of the firm. Should have 1+ years of Litigation experience. Experience in Plaintiff-side Personal Injury, Medical Negligence, Product Liability is a plus.
