Paralegal - Intellectual Property The candidate will assist attorneys with patent prosecution, to include:patent and legal research; Summarize legal documents. Will analyze documents for accuracy. Prepare drafts of legal documents, correspondence, and declarations. Disseminate, track, and retrieve required legal documents necessary for patent prosecution. Provide support in the preparation and filing of selected patent applications for both U.S. and international patent applications. Other related tasks and duties as requested. Experience with and detailed knowledge of patent docket systems is must. Should have familiarity with all aspects of U.S. and foreign patent prosecution, including US and PCT practice and procedures. Provide support in the preparation and filing of selected patent applications for both U.S. and international patent applications. Other related tasks and duties as requested. Must have excellent technical writing, communication, and analytical skills to independently review, draft, and prepare documents. Proficiency with Microsoft Office specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required. Must have 2+ years of patent prosecution experience. Paralegal degree and/or Bachelor s Degree or comparable experience is required. Must be experienced Intellectual Property Paralegal.
