Associate Attorney Insurance Coverage (Washington D.C.) Responsibilities: Legal research regarding coverage and litigation issues. Coverage analysis - insurance policy review and claims fact review. Preparing draft coverage position letters. All aspects of insurance coverage litigation - pleadings, discovery, motions, trial, settlement. Writing articles on timely insurance topics. Qualification: Juris Doctor (JD) from accredited law school. Admission to DC bar or waiver eligibility (required). Admission(s) to MD and/or VA preferred. Must have 2+ years property/casualty insurance coverage experience. Strong analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task a diverse caseload and meet deadlines. Self-starter who takes ownership of executing tasks.
