Trademark Litigation Paralegal Duties: Work closely with attorneys and team members to proactively oversee case management, including through trial/settlement and post-trial/post-settlement. Draft, review, and revise legal documents. Maintain case files and update discovery logs and indices. Organize and maintain master documents, document lists, and document databases. Support and manage document productions. Assist with trial exhibits, including identifying and gathering exhibit documents and creating witness outlines. Cite-check briefs. Obtain case-related documents informally from third parties. Coordinate among vendors for litigation support services. Monitor pending decisions and conduct and summarize legal research. Assist with document review and coordinate with attorneys and/or staff for back-end database management. Work extended hours as needed. Maintain composure and work efficiently and accurately during high-energy situations involving frequently changing circumstances. Attend work on-site on a regular, punctual and reliable schedule. Manage multiple problems and projects at once; and. Work cordially, cooperatively and productively with other employees. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree. Must have 5 years of experience working as a paralegal with a law firm. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite 2010 and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Strong legal research database skills and experience with Westlaw (preferred). Understanding and knowledge of legal procedures, rules of counsel, and local rules. Experience with eDiscovery. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work well under stress. Strong analytical thinking skills. Ability to work independently with little or no direction; and. Ability to effectively function in a team environment, including but not limited to the ability to be open minded, cordial and cooperative with Firm employees. Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints. Strong written and verbal skills; and. Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate in person and by phone with a diverse group of attorneys, staff and vendors. Strong technical eDiscovery skills and understanding of litigation support. Experience with Office 2016, including Excel and Word styles / macros; and. Trial experience.
